Today Work Safety Service celebrates its professional holiday. In DrilLife GS the department is represented by five professionals.
Along with the production achievements DrilLife GS has anincreased focus on production standards: it applies modern technologies and equipment, runs diagnostics and research of hazardous facilities, provides staff trainings and certification on a regular basis. It is constantly working on development and effective operation of the Safety Management System.
Thus, arrangement of health and safety conditions is one of the major goals during performance of the works including motivation methods and involvement of the employees in health and safety implementation activities. Any economic, technical or other consideration cannot be taken into account if they contravene the necessity of ensuring personnel and population safety and environmental security.
The Company has developed and successfully applies risk assessment and minimization charts, which are used as an auxiliary material when providing briefing before starting. For charting information about production risks is gathered directly from the working places by the employees, after wards it undergone careful assessment by specially created groups who identify the most dangerous and frequent risks with follow-up entry into the general register and immediate developing of the risk assessment and minimization charts.
This register is flexible as risks kept to a minimum can be excluded from it and vice versa – new risks collected from the sites can be added to the list. Furthermore, DrilLife Company has introduced standards which help to regulate and assess the situations in the field of occupational safety and health. All this gives substantial results.
The frequency rate is declining (accident rate per 1000 employees). For 2015 it complied 1,11. For 2011 – 1,29 (for comparison: for 2010 — 3,76; 2009 — 2,45).
Work in capacity by accident rate (average incapacity days for 1000 employees) has also declined. For 2015 it was 132 (for 2011 — 458; 2009 — 597).
The number of accidents at DrilLife GS sites is in clined to fall. If in 2010 there were 6 accidents, in 2015 only 2, and none from the beginning of 2016. High level of occupational safety and health provision at DrilLife GS sites is confirmed by the Customers.
DrilLife GS got an award and a medal place among the contractors in the field of occupational health and safety, industrial and environmental security.
Such high recognition of its work by the Customer DrilLife received due to the complex of measures implementation and permanent monitoring of all production processes and work conditions.
